The long timelines of nature are revealed in trees, rocks and rivers. There are the timelines of humanity revealed in architecture. There are the fleeting timelines of light that pass through a single and specific day. All inspire me. I delight in the colors and shapes of the natural world. I paint them to engage in, and bear witness to, the passage of time.
