"From the novice or beginner to the professional, the organization provides exhibition space and opportunities to grow as an artist. Our national exhibitions bring to Annapolis eclectic, contemporary art not on view in any area galleries. "

− Gail Higginbotham

"My time at MFA has been a perfect fit for my development as an artist. It has inspired me in every direction. I find that I learn and grow being in the company with artists of all disciplines. There is such a generous spirit of camaraderie at MFA, which seems to be a common theme among the members. "

− Carol Donahue

"The MFA has given me the opportunity to show my art, and that to me is pretty much all I wanted: for people to see my art. "

− Mark Peria

"MFA works tirelessly to create new opportunities for living artist members. Meeting new artist friends and sharing time and ideas with them has just been an unexpected bonus. "

− Jennifer Rynbrandt

"I became involved with the MFA in the early 1970’s when I first moved to Anne Arundel County. I view the organization today as I did then, as providing a vital community in which artists can exhibit and thrive. "
