MFA Members:  cl bigelow and Patrice Drago

Bigelow and Drago have been selected to be Artists in Residence at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, beginning September, 2014.  Drop in and say hello when you are there.  Visit the MHCA website here to view their biographies.

MFA Member: Deborah Kommalan 

Debbie Kommalan currently has two paintings showing at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. The show, which is titled “Art-chitecture”, includes pieces such as “Parking in Louisville” and “The Local”. Kommalan’s pieces will be on display until November 6, 2014.

MFA Member: Richard Paul Weiblinger

Weiblinger’s photograph “Blue Lily Golden Center” is featured in the Artists’ Gallery invitational exhibition which runs from August 4th-August 29th, 2014. Artists’ Gallery is located at 10227 Wincopin Circle in Columbia, MD.








MFA Member: Ann Adair

Ann Adair is currently putting together an exhibit composed entirely of pieces created by veterans. Any veterans that are interested in submitting art (visual, musical, performance, or written) may contact her on her home phone number (410-356-4647) and leave a message with your name and phone number if she is not reached. Non MFA members are also welcome to submit as long as they are veterans. You may check the Baltimore VA Facebook page for further information.

MFA Member: Ruth Connell

Ruth Connell with hold a talk titled “The Art of the Studio: How to Design Your Studio” on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Doors open at 5:30 pm at AIA Maryland.

MFA Member: Jack Knight

One of Knight’s oil and acrylic paintings, “Tatamagouche #8″, was awarded the Innovation and Experimentation Award at the 2014 Abstract Art Exhibition. The exhibition is currently running at the Art Institute and Gallery in Salisbury, MD and ends September 4th, 2014.
