Art Between the Creeks – Please join the 20 artists of Art Between the Creeks for an avant garde evening of original artwork, beer, wine and appetizers to celebrate Art in the Heart of Eastport. Solo Exhibition Flynn Geissel – the current solo exhibit showcases her current series of mixed media that compel the viewer to confront the power of nature. The series is inspired by the flow of water, the power of storm clouds, and the delicate form of flowers. Part of the exhibit 25% of the proceeds will go towards a local cancer charity. Flynn Geissel will also be signing copies of her book “The Youth Prescription: The Anti-Aging Source Book” Opening Reception & Book Signing: Friday, May 16 6 -9pm.

Patrice Drago’s body of work was juried into Still Point VI, an annual online exhibition curated by Christine Cote of Still Point Art Gallery in Brunswick, Maine. Larry Fransen’s kinetic sculpture
Mesmerizer 1 (currently on view at Circle Gallery) is on the Science Friday – Build An Art Machine web page. While working in his shop and listening to NPR, the science program requested listeners to send them pictures/videos of their machine art. Larry sent his in and the result is quite entertaining and eclectic. Here is the web page.

April Rimpo’s painting Messengers will be on display in the Louisiana Watercolor Society’s 44th Annual International Exhibition from May 2nd – 25th in the Garden District Gallery in New Orleans. She’ll also have More Beautiful with Age on exhibit from May 6 – 30 at The Next Picture Show gallery in Dixon, IL as part of the Illinois Watercolor Society’s 30th National Exhibition.
Jack Knight’s painting Tatamagouche #9 was selected by show Lauren Hinkson, Ass’t Curator at the Guggenheim Museum to be exhibited in the 11th Biannual National Juried Exhibit at the CERES Gallery, NY. 547 West 27th Street, Suite 201,NY. On view May 28 – June 21.
Rosanne Colvard’s work will be exhibited in the Art @ The Walks Exhibit at Linthicum Walks celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Crofton, MD. The exhibit is from May 17-18 from 10 AM-4 PM. Meet the Artist Reception is May 16, 6-8 PM. Linthicum Walks is located @ 2295 Davidsonville Rd (Rt 424). Adjacent to Crofton Middle School.
