MFA Member West Annapolis Artworks and Fine Framing
“Colors of Summer”: West Annapolis Artworks presents an exhibit of art work that is a vibrant array of summer-themed words by well-known local and regional artists. This exhibit opened June 1, and will remain on view through August 24. Join their celebration of all things summer for a lively reception with food, refreshments and collaborative live painting by the artists on Thursday, June 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. Parking is plentiful.
Artist Boot Camp
MFA Member Kellee Wynne Conrad will be leading discussions on gallery representation for all artists, seasoned and novice. Join her this summer for a 4 day Boot Camp at Jordan Faye Contemporary. Find out more here.

MFA Member Anna Fine Foer
Anna is participating in the Art Kibbutz Residency on Governor’s Island and the public is invited to observe on June 14th and 21st from 11:30-5 pm, Noland Park 6B. You can also view a commissioned collage of hers here that she made for a bar mitzvah.
MFA Member Wil Scott
Wil’s solo show will open at Annapolis City Hall and will run through June 21.
MFA Member Sandy Cohen
Sandy is featured in a solo exhibition in Martino Gallery at Maryland Hall from May 11-July 11. The show is titled “BECOMING: Artistry in the Making.”
MFA Member Vince Lupo
Vince Lupo is exhibiting a series of photographs in an exhibit titled “Invisible Threads” at The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, 40 South Carroll St, Frederick MD. The exhibit runs May 2 – June 28. More information available: www.delaplaine.org
MFA Member Richard Weiblinger
Richard has been juried into the McLean Project for the Arts Invitational Exhibition. The show runs June 18 – August 1, 2015 with a reception on June 30, 7-9pm.
Portrait Sculpture- New Dates
MFA Member Rick Casali has moved his workshop and is now holding classes every Monday at Maryland Hall from June 8th to July 27th (6:30 PM to 9:00 PM). Lectures will be given on the geometric planes of the face, structure of the skull, and the anatomy of eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. For more information check out his website.
Request for Proposal: Hospice of the Chesapeake
Hospice of the Chesapeake is requesting proposals from artists for work to hang in the chapel/reflection space of their new Inpatient Care Center. $10,000 commission will be awarded to the artist(s) chosen. Deadline for proposals, July 15. More information.

Jordan Faye Contemporary
Jordan Faye Contemporary’s Thrive Program and Exhibition is seeking artists for the Spring into Summer session (June 5-7) and Late Summer session (July 24-26). The program is geared towards artists who are developing their professional careers and participants are considered Thrive Alumni, which makes them eligible for ongoing opportunities (potential solo shows, artists residencies, etc). Gallery 333 has openings for 2 month shows Nov/Dec 2015 and most slots of 2016. They are seeking 30-40 2d works, any media, wired for walker hanging system. Call for Entries: Cade Gallery
All media is being accepted for the Heliotrope Bouquet 17, a show at AACC. There is no entry fee, no jurying, and no framing necessary. All pieces brought from June 1-2 (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) will be featured in the gallery. June 8th through July 10th. Limit 2 pieces per artist.
