MFA member, Pat Zannie is offering a course @ Montgomery College:
Zen of Design
Using the Zen principle of complimentary opposites (yin and yang) as applied to the elements of design, you will review artwork from the masters and contemporary artists to develop a meaningful understanding of the elements of two-dimensional design. Using techniques of collage, you will explore and develop personal artwork relating to both realistic and abstract settings. This is an excellent class for both new and practicing artists. Bring rubber cement, scissors, and a small box of oil pastels to the first class. Tuition waiver applies; seniors pay fee only.
Course: ADS125 25 Hours $163 + $85 fee = $248; Non-Md. residents add $140
