Introducing the Fall Member Show
Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all MFA Members residing in the United States, DC, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico to enter the Fall Member Show 2022. Any original 2D or 3D work will be considered. Works selected will be on exhibit in Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis, Maryland from September 28 – October 15, 2022.
Juror: Susan Badder, former adjunct Professor of Art History at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art)
Susan Badder served as an adjunct professor of Art History at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), from 2006 until 2019, teaching Art Matters, Italian Renaissance Thought and Art, and African Art Forms. She continues to tutor in the Writing Studio at MICA, occasionally teaches for the OSHER program of Johns Hopkins University, and function as a free-lance editor, curator and consultant. Before going to MICA, Badder was the Senior Curator for Education and Community Programs at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Previously she had been Executive Director of Maryland Art Place, and directed education programs at both the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Over the years she has curated a variety of exhibitions, ranging from Maryland Collects to Black Is A Color: African American Art at the Corcoran, and Art and Economics: Sienese Paintings from the Dawn of the Financial Age. More recent juror responsibilities include an all-media exhibition and a works on paper exhibition. She holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and Vassar College, and continues to lecture and contribute to numerous museum catalogs and art publications.

Information for Accepted Artists
NOTE: Should the exhibition space be closed for reasons beyond our control, MFA reserves the right to move a planned physical exhibit to our online gallery.

Liability All work will be handled with all possible care, but pieces submitted for the exhibition are at the artist’s risk. In the event of damage or theft, MFA will not be held liable. If insurance is desired, the artist must carry it. Sales
All artists will receive notification by email. Accepted artists and artwork will also be posted on MFA’s website. Artists who have unsubscribed from MFA’s emails will not receive notification.Exhibition Schedule
