Karen Cohen,   Washington, DC

Karen Cohen is an award winning, seasoned professional photographer. Having graduated from the Germain School of Photography 4 decades ago, she has worked in the field of photography ever since. In 2012 her photojournals included in the Aquarian Weekly Trade Magazine were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Library/Archives. Her work include live performances, portraits, architecture and fine art photoart. In 2019 she was juried into over twenty exhibits in galleries across the USA. She took first prize in Walker National Multi-Media Juried exhibit and had three solo exhibitions in her adopted hometown of Washington, DC.

Accomplished in digital manipulation and Photoshop practices, she has presented Phantasm, a photoart series in 2017 and 2018 in solo exhibits at the Hill Center and Gallery O on H, both in Washington, DC. . Creating a magical world that only exists in her imagination, Phantasm is a limited edition of signed photographs and are currently in private collections in the states.
