Catherine Rush—Artist Bio I was born in Eastern Washington State and moved to the east coast for graduate school in the early 1980s. I had careers in public finance, financial systems and project management and am now pursuing photography and painting. My art focuses on objects in settings of everyday life. My photography is mostly large in format with a key isolated object on a complex scene. My paintings meanwhile tend to be in smaller formats of multiple objects in a sparse scene. Recently, I have been working on large format landscape paintings, which I am enjoying. I tend to focus on water and seascape scenes as I have spent summers at LBI, NJ for 30 years and live winters in Annapolis MD.

Since pursuing my art full time, both photographic and painting pieces have been selected for various juried exhibits from New York City to Athens Ga.
