Pamela Lofgren-Wilde is a native of Chicago but has resided in Maryland for over twenty years. Pamela received her formal training at the Chicago-based American Academy of Art and graduated with a degree in Advertising Design and Illustration. Her early career was spent in Tacoma, Washington where she worked for the Tacoma News Tribune from 1984 to 1989. While employed with the Tacoma News Tribune she worked extensively in advertising design and editorial illustration creating original art for weekly publication. Evolving as a portrait artist she studied intensively through adult continued education, mentorship and independent study.
