About the Artist

Carol A Wetovich,   Annapolis, MD

Carol A. Wetovich lives and works in beautiful and historic Annapolis, Maryland with two cats and a flourishing garden. Carol graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She also attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, Otis/Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, and recently the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. After many successful years as a camera operator in the television and film industry, with credits including HBO’s “The Wire”, ABC’s “Spin City” and the Academy Awards, Carol decided to change her journey through life and began to pursue her true passion, creating art.

Her images include “plein air” oil paintings of Annapolis and the Eastern shore, studio still life paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor and hand-pulled original prints of scenes of everyday life in Maryland. Carol is a member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association, the Annapolis Watercolor Club and the Plein Air Painters of the Eastern Shore. Carol also creates designs and illustrations for various clients.
