Global Landscapes Aug 10 - Sept 21

For our inaugural Curve Gallery exhibit, Global Landscapes, MFA sought diverse and creative reactions to all the world's landscapes. Much of the selected work addresses the the universal fascination of nature's beauty, which has spawned movements like impressionism and sustained publications like National Geographic. Also featured are works that explore the tension that exists between the natural and man-made, in a shifting, ever-industrializing globe. Any original 2D and 3D artwork was eligible for entry in this fine art, international, online-only exhibition of Global Landscapes. Eighty-two artists representing sixteen states, Washington D.C. and Germany submitted two hundred eight-four artworks. Thirty-seven works by twenty-eight artists were selected by the juror for display on MFA's online Curve Gallery.
